Future Domain Guessing in Browser

I was wondering in the current browser, if you type some keywords, say candy, It will immediately transfer to candy.com. As the ccTLD's become more popular and popular, would this fact of domain guessing change in the future?

I have found a patent talking about this issue, you can browse it if you want to.

Website owners will just sue them like hell. Google has been sued by many companies for black listing their site.
