.net DNS propagation slow?

Now I'm not sure if this is to do with my host, so i submitted a support ticket to them, but I'm thinking it could be that .net's take a while to propagate?

For example, i registered "squd.net" and "squd.info" at exactly the same time, and changed the name servers at exactly the same time, but only "squd.info" would add, i had to wait over 24 hours for the .net to work.

Is this a problem with .net's or my host? It happened with domains registered at godaddy and mydomain.com

I suppose it really depends on the registry and your isp. Sometimes I change my nameservers, using a proxy, i can see the changes immediately. Hope that helps.

I think it's definatley a problem with my host, as if you whois search them it says that the DNS are linked to my host.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/427289-net-dns-propogation-slow.html

http://whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=syzo&tld=net
Shows "dns.site5.com" and "dns2.site5.com" yet my host won't let me add it.

Cheers for the suggestion, rep added
