![]() | Sedo Buyer Not Responding I just saw in another thread that there are people selling their domains at Sedo and not replying to offers. However, I have made a sale at Sedo (with contract) and the buyer has sent Sedo the money and I've been waiting more than a week for the confirmation email to allow the transfer to the new owner. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/40817-sedo-buyer-not-responding.html I have contacted Sedo more than once, they say they've been trying to reach the buyer and all they ever get is an answering machine. How common is it that the buyer hands over the money and then doesn't complete the deal? Doesn't seem to be any logic in that. This is my first sale at Sedo and I know it isn't Sedo's fault, but I'm starting to wonder if dealing directly with the seller isn't a better way to go.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah - must be frustrating. I currently have an offer through Sedo which I countered. I have not heard a peep from the prospect - which means I am obligated to wait the mandatory 7 days before the name is released. I wonder if the buyer is obligated to wait 7 days for a response ??

![]() | I recently started a thread on the German Sedo board, asking people who long it takes before Sedo transfers the Domain and the money is on your account. A month isn't all that special, in the last four weeks I sold 5 domains over Sedo, haven't received one Cent by now. For most Domains the money is there, the papers has been filled out...just waiting for the new owner to take over the domain. Unfortunately it seems to take a little longer in Summertime (

![]() | It's all coming to an end soon. I got a reply from Sedo. They are completely unable to reach the buyer. Something about getting an answering machine but not being able to leave a message? Thing must be full. Anyway, i've pushed the domain into it's own account and Sedo is taking it, and then tranferring the money into my account. I'm happy with this, because they could have just said that under contract I have to wait for the buyer to complete the deal in order to get paid. I know the buyer supplied the funds for the sale, but they could have kept the money if the buyer didn't keep his end of the bargain.
