![]() | When To Go Reseller? Several people talk of having reseller accounts for their domains. What I'd like to know is when that becomes a good idea - how many domains should you have for that to be a financial advantage? By my count I currently hold 32 names. Would that be enough to transfer them in bulk to a reseller account? Does it matter if they are currently with a handful of different registrars? Where do I go about getting a reseller account in the first place? Any and all information on this stepping into the reseller scene would be appreciated.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can have for free a $8.95 enom reseller account from anyone here. And you can buy a $7.95 account for cheap or $6.95 account for not cheap... I've less than 32 names myself and I'm enjoy my $6.95 account. Even if I buy it, I take it for an investment for the next years... You'll have to transfer your names from differents registrars to your new reseller account if you want manage them in only one place... |

![]() ![]() ![]() | You can also get an $8.14 eNom retail account from many people cheap... With those you don't have to refill at $100 a clip, you can register/renew on demand... I got my $6.95 for $100 + W98.net Now this is all talking about eNom right now. There's also WWD, DirectI and others... I have a $7.95 eNom reseller account laying around doing nothing since I got my $6.95... I'd trade it for some NP$, a couple bucks or an interesting domain... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | $6.95 $7.95 $8.95 Initial Cost: $180.00 $15.00 $0.00 ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/40679-when-to-go-reseller.html Cost for 1st 25 domains $173.75 $198.75 $223.75 Total after 25 domains: $353.75 $213.75 $223.75 Total after 50 domains: $527.50 $412.50 $447.50 Total after 100 domians: $875.00 $810.00 $895.00 You can see the analysis of each type of an account. Points to think about -- 1) several of the accounts running around are sub of a sub of a sub. Do you want that? No. 2) I have run across a few accounts that were/are illegally created through MB or DRAMS "holes". I for one have called my "insider" at eNom and had people banned from WHT and kicked off of eBay for that crap. If it is wrong then it's wrong! 3) Make sure you get under an ETP who will actually support you and help you towards becoming an ETP yourself. With the above 2 you don't get that. Good Luck with your decision. |
