plural or singular on .pro's?

So I picked up Senior.Pro and also picked up Seniors.Pro just to be able to close that keyword.

Was it foolish to get both?

What are your thoughts on plural or singular .pro domains?

Thanks<
David

This has been covered in another post but I think the bottom line is that it can be tricky to determine which is better and it really is a case by case basis. One tool I use to make the determination is googe trends. In this case it seems to value senior.pro a good deal above seniors.pro - http://google.com/trends?q=senior%2Cseniors. That said, this is only one data point in a complicated equation.

I agree with the singular. I have studentloan.pro and studentloans.pro. Studentloan.pro gets a lot more traffic.

hard to say, i got ringtones.pro and was waiting on regging ringtone.pro .. i went back a couple weeks later and it was gone.

i did kinda like the sound of the singular more, but plural dominated in searches

I guess I am splitting hairs. I just wonder with the high reg fee and all. I should not be worrying about it. And I really am not questioning the wisdom in grabbing both in a huge market. I guess I am concerned about some other names I am looking at. Let's face it... $100 a pop is not $6.95. I think I am in good shape on these. Just want to be smart about the general principle.

Thanks for everyone's input so far. I love learning from those who have gone before.

I agree! I have been saved from a few costly mistakes by the pros here on this forum (just in the few months I have been doing this).
