1and1?

I've seen that 1and1 ( http://1and1.com ) has $5.99 domain regs for com/.net/.org/.info/.name

Has anyone here used them or know if they're any good?

From what I here, 1and1 = Sedo and they are horrible. Avoid them at all cost. I have not heard a single praise from them. Even changing your dns is a hassle and transferring? You can forget about it.

I think you should reg your name at popular site ,such as:enpom, godaddy.
Because it's easy to other people to buy your name.

I have had trouble with them trying to setup the DNS for hosting.
Gives errors sometimes - and sometimes it is successful.
I think they are pretty popular but I would say no on this one -

go look at my thread at http://www.namepros.com/showthread.p...threadid=32512

that is 1and1 (www.1and1.com are the same as oneandone.com)

I personally would not recomend anyone to use them, before I had that problem I had many more.

1 and 1 is a huge internet business known for low level support that literally can take weeks for a minimal response.

I think it is actually a case that they are way too big for their own good, they no longer really care about their customers. They dont really give a damn if they lose a few they know they will get many more.
