![]() ![]() ![]() | GoDaddy transfer policies? It seems that GoDaddy prevents you from transfering a name for 30 days if you just look at it sideways, and I'm a little confused about their transfer policies. For example, IIRC, they treat an internal push sort of like a regular transfer, minus the fee. Could some kind soul please tell me, under each of the following conditions, how long I have to wait before I can push a name at GoDaddy to another GoDaddy user? (a) I purchase a name via my GoDaddy account (b) Someone pushes a name to me from their GoDaddy account ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/316776-godaddy-transfer-policies.html (c) I purchase a name via tdnam Thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In all three cases it's the same 60 days if it's a transfer away from GoDaddy and 0 days if you push it to another GoDaddy account. Why? Because all 3 effect changes to the Registrant Info (not the Admin Info which would be more traditional). Even an update of the Registrant Info without making any changes will create this 60 day barrier to start over. |
