RU domains registration

What registar allow to register RU-domains? It is preferable if he accepts credit card payments.

You mean .RU or .COM.RU?

.COM.RU is the only free extention in the world where you actually own the domain and do with it what you want (unlike .TK where you more or less use the domain with restrictions) but the one negative (?) thing is that the registry will ask a copy of your ID. Guess some people will crawl back when a Russian company asks that.

For .RU, you can go directly with www.nic.ru I believe. Straight from the source!
