Expired Domains dropping from Dmoz

HI All

I just wanted to let you all know that I think Dmoz is dropping listings of domains that have expired.

The reason I think they are doing that is because I have over 100+ domains I bought in the past few months and a lot of them were listed in Dmoz, and when checking my domains today with 3 different programs and scripts.. I see they all no longer are listed in Dmoz,,

So you may want to check your domains if you have a dmoz listing..

Thanks
Tom Dahne

yeah, I was reading the dmoz forum the other day, to learn something for a site that will use the dmoz data, and they are trying to do just that. They found the thumbnails site is letting them find expired sites quickly as well.

They have been doing this for atleast month or so. Back when I edited for them editors were using desktop scripts to check dead links. That was over two years ago. I'm sure by now it's automated.

dmoz used to be who yahoo pulled some search results from

dmoz.org is the site

it's a directory where nobodies waste their time allowing your site to be in a category

it's one of many marketing tools to promote a web site but the editors aren't all that even though they think they are
