Country TLDs -- Any Release Dates?

Hi,

I've noticed that some country TLD's are for sale, while others are for parties in a particular locality. But there are still countless numbers of TLD's that have not yet been developed for a lot of these countries, but I'd like to know which ones and when they'll be released for public registration.

Is there a way to check the release dates for available country TLD's? I'm really curious what will come next.

Most are not regulated by ICANN, so there is no central place to check, unless IANA has the information.

Some of them, but not all, have very recently formed a committee in ICANN that can be followed here: http://ccnso.icann.org/

Most ccTLD's have nexus requirements such that foreigners couldn't apply anyway. The only one that is probably going to open up to general registrations that isn't already that I know of is .pw, the domain assigned to the island nation of Palau. Info on that is here http://www.pwregistry.pw

PW looks interesting, although I wonder how much they'll charge (I hate overpricing). Inevitably, I'd love to have a domain with the .aq (Antarctica) extention, just because it's such a cool part of the world.
