Sweet deal for me that I live in Southern California. It would be the first one I am able to go to. So I am excited thats its almost here and so close to me. (he he less than 30 minutes away)
Well let me see: If I dont have the $395 I could probably rent a spot or two at my place. It's $200 a night at the hotel. I could probably cover the cost of that having 4 people at my place. Sorta of like a B&B. lmao. And maybe make some extra change on the side.
Even at $395, this one is a bargain compared to attendance fees at the other domain conference. This is a three day event, and most (if not all) of your meals will be included. They really go all out to take care of attendees, so if you can make it, I'm sure you would enjoy it.
There will be special rates for conference attendees. They mentioned it would be around $200/night to stay at the venue hotel, but I'm sure there will be lower cost alternatives for lodging. Hopefully we'll hear more about these options soon. Maybe pairing up with a roommate would be a good option for some too.

I'm interested in joining, but I'd like to join perhaps to get a booth if possible. I'd like to showcase my software DNFinder, (DNFinder.net), since I live in the area. It's only a 20 minute drive for me =).

Can I submit my domains without attending the event?

Say any word yet on if there is a way I can attend? =). Haven't got any emails back from you and would like to attend to showcase my software dnfinder.net there. Let me know.

FYI, there are cheaper hotels in the area. I hear the Holiday Inn, is a decent place to stay for about $100 or 120 a night. It's on N. Highland Blvd., a walking distance from the Renaissance, where the fest will be.
I'm just 10 minutes away from there, so I'll be commuting each day.
I look forward to seeing you again, RJ. I also hope to meet some more of you at this next fest.
