![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Similar domain sales! Some quick sales on Sedo, on very similar names. About a week ago, we saw sale of srk.co.in for $2.5k & now today srk.in for $1.6k I hope the SRK refers to Shah Rukh Khan, a Bollywood star. And, couple of days before we had lotto.in for $5k & today lotto.cn for $8.6k! (Both of these domains redirecting to different foreign lottery websites) Is it the case where one sale influencing the other..??

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Are you sure "lotto" is copyrighted? So I can go copyright generic terms like "baseball" and send some lawyers knocking on MLB's doors? Maybe "lotto" is a trademark? Whatever it is, sure doesn't seem to stop all the statewide, provincial, and national lotteries from using the term. Back on the subject... Absolutely the sale of one domain can influence the sale of another, or multiple other names. I have seen it happen several times, both on the keywords in a name, and on extensions themselves. Maybe the latter buyers see previous sales as justification of the price? Or maybe the previous sales give attention to the keywords and/or extension? Who knows, but it does happen. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/240490-similar-domain-sales.html -Nitro
