    | What does STATUS: Inactive mean? Can anyone tell me when I do a whois on a domain name and it comes up with details, but status is inactive what this means? I have tried regging a couple of them, and it came up with information, but status inactive. It comes up available to register on some registrars, but not on others? I'm confused. |

| it means there are no active nameservers. in other words the nameservers (if they exist) dont resolve, so it isnt parked, and it isnt a website, but it is registered.
