OK folks I am tired of the insuations and false accusations against me that have been levelled against me by Badger and Joker...So I will provide the best proof I can providing Badger agrees to these conditions

1) I have a bank receipt for slightly above the £15,000 (includes some other costs that were involved)

2) I will send Badger a copy (whilst deleting a couple of account numbers from my account) to protect my privacy/account details. This is only fair
given their diabolical behaviour on this board.

3) Badger looks at this and he sees the relevant sum of money and date and acknowledges that on this board with an immediate (provisional) apology.

4) If he is not satsified of its authenticity he can come to London and see the original receipt and I pay him £1000 if it is not authentic!!! He buy me a beer
and call an end to the matter.

5) Badger and Joker agree not to reveal my personal details.

6) He publicly apologises on this forum and Joker does likewise.

That way i have not infinged my legal obligation on the contract and the receipt is taken as the best possible proof I can provide.

So that is it Badger and Joker......All I want is the apology and you agree
to accept that you were wrong.....And that people are not guilty until proven guilty!!! They have never offered any proof of their accusations whatsoever...it has been a prosecution case with NO PROOF whatsoever....

I cant be fairer than that can I ??????????

So now it is over to you two!!!!

Another new post.... Cool... You do realise your other thread on the same topic is still open...??

http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/147522-poker-web-com.html

Sorry, what was it you wanted me to do again...?

You have £15k in your account and this proves the sale... Is that it??
And, on receipt of said verification, I have to travel up to town, wearing my wifes night shirt and high heeled shoes and fall at your feet screamin "im not worth, im not worthy"... Is that it...?

 Give me a break...

And for reference Quality, you might want to re-assess your version of false accusations....

badger said:
Despite these fabulous sales (which i dont think anyone has called you a liar on), the root domain holder (CentralNic) still report their highest sale as being $1700...
badger said:
We should all be happy for Quality and congratulate him on his sale... By my reckoning 7 TIMES the biggest sub domain sale of all time
badger said:
Well, like you wot, im the greatest sceptic EVER with regard sub domains and especially the effect this could potentially have on the net. But a $15k sale of a sub domain thats some of the biggest news for some time.... :)
badger said:
This sale is big news Quality... Spread the good vibe bro...
badger said:
Can i just ask, although i know you cant say for legal reasons, but did Sedo buy the name from you... ?
badger said:
We should be giving Quality a break here.
badger said:
this sale must be legit for not even the world's stupidest person would be stupid enough to make such comments knowing that they could easily be blown out of the water..
badger said:
Nice sale..... And nice dogmatism as well

These represent false accusations Quality do they :-/

Oh sorry, maybe you were referring to this post

badger said:
Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack. Cock-a-doodle-do.
Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack. Cock-a-doodle-do.
Quack, quack, quack, a doodle-ee-do..

But like i said before, im wholeheartedly sorry for that last one...

Badger I have a receipt of the £15,000 being deposited into my account!!!!

ie it is not my Bank account balance but the money arriving into the account when it was deposited......

Looks like you are avoiding the issue... it is up to you to inspect that receipt
which I am sure will satisfy you only if you are not satisfied do you have to come down....

Woah. What's going on here? I'm confused.

Why is so important if two strangers on a forum believe you or not about this sale.
If i was you, with all the respect for joker and budger, i would simply don't care of their comments, and enjoy my 15K pounds...

Anyway, as a neutral party, i could accept those 15K pounds on my paypal account in order to prove all the community you received that money and i'll broadcast the message to all its members. :guilty:

Why would I be interested in this...?
What would £15k arriving in your account prove?

Theres a fundamental difference between asking for proof of countless claims regarding world record sales of domain names and seeing post after post on the same subject and actually being interested in whether or not its true..

I couldnt care less if youd sold all your domains for 10 squillion dollars, but i think we'd all just like to see proof of at least one before you post any more claims..

Simple really...

I can also send you a copy of the document of the contract for another subdomain sale valued at $xx,xxx as well at the same time again on condition that you keep it private ta very much.

So that would be double proof but I also insist on the apology from both you and Joker...

This is about integrity not money.....

Many people use this forum for business. As quality said, it's about integrity.

There could be £1k in it for you if you're right ;)

I'm not taking sides here, but would be interested to know what proof would satisfy Badger. Who knows? Perhaps quality can deliver.

Personally, I'd forget about it. You probably cannot appease these two NPers. Why swallow your pride for a Joker and a Badger? Just know that you are right and move on.

And about that "innocent until proven guilty" thing. Remember that not everyone here is an American. They aren't used to that line of thought.

Two things:

This is the point Oli, id be right about What....?? What is my claim??

I have no claim to whether it be BS or truth, I (like many others here) are just asking for proof of at least one sale before Quality posts yet another claim...

you can see my previous posts above for what ive said on the matter.. Do you see any false accusations?

The point of concern i think for everyone is that IF Quality has a sale which is subject to a non disclosure agreement then fine.... End of... Move on. Congratulations...

My first post on the subject, said just that when someone asked for details on who the buyer was. From memory I said
badger said:
why the heck would he want to tell you
and also
badger said:
sleep easy my friend, whats with the big interest.?? You asked your question, you asked again, he never replied, move on...

So as you can see, initially i had support for someone posting a nice sale with a NDA.

But for Quality to then post the next day, then the next, then the next - all boasting of this / these fabulous sales, at some point we, as a community, have to say "stop, we get it OK, no need to make a new thread everyday telling all how the doubters were wrong and you were right"...

Secondly

Ok, so ive taken this upon myself to question this, but when:

* The person has made major unsubstantiated sub domain sale claims before and when at that time he was asked to provide some proof by a mod he was not forthcoming with any info
* The domain is still advertised on Quality's sedo parking pages
* The domain still (to this moment) shows in Quality's signature here
* The domain whois for .web.com sub domains is unavailable so, as it was / is still parked at Sedo (and Quality claims the buyer paid the money into his account without using an Escrow service), how did buyer find seller without going via Sedo?

these are the discrepancies for which I have asked questions on, not accusations, no slights on his character, just questions...

But hey, i dont care if no-one else does... Shoot, lets have another "all the doubters were wrong, i was right, cos ive just sold another $$,$$$ sub domain" thread tomorrow

To be fair to Badger he is the one of the two parties involved that I am prepared to
trust with this information....I am afraid Joker is not.....

To legendary JP I have been fair enough to put this offer up on the board and I trust that is sufficient...

I am not taking sides here, but I do think quality have some valid points. I think joker and badger went a little bit too far.

Think you'll find this is the return for all .web.com domains, this is the root domain owner... D-:

So back to Armstrongs question, "what would suffice my curiosity"...

I guess the question I highlighted previously,

"how did buyer find seller to pay him the money for the domain"??

Thats it..

Badger you discovered my identity as is clear from your previous posts.

I have just sent you a pm to explain how I am pretty sure they got in contact with me.

As I say i prefer to have my privacy respected so I would be grateful you just acknowledge the reasonable explanation I have just provided.

Now will you kindly at least on this board accept I have offered a reasonable explanation of that.

Thanks

Ok, before i offer my sincerest apologies, let me be crystal clear on this issue...

1. A sedo buyer is interested in your sub domain poker.web.com
2. The buyer however chooses not to place an offer at sedo but instead tries to find you via the whois on your domain
3. He cannot do this, as this is not available, so he manages to then find out and subsequently search all your other domains, eventually finding the only one with correct whois info
4. He then contacts you via this means, you agree on £15,000 and he then pays this money directly into your bank account without using an escrow service or insisting on any kind of security for his money
5. The buyer then fails to take ownership of the domain and 3 months after the sale continues to allow it to point to your parking page at sedo

Is this pretty much what happened?

I am responding to you via pm!!!
1 and 2 are correct 3 4 and 5 are not correct but I would prefer you
keep this info confidential............

It is really up to you to decide if they are plausible...

This thread is giving me a good laugh. A receipt of deposit in your account means nothing other than you depositied money somehow. You could take out 15k and then deposit 15k and have a receipt of 'getting 15k', completely unrelated to the domain name.

•••
Yes but there is a date attached as well.........but I am glad you have had a laugh so have I...So I would need to somehow have backdated that....
