TRIED TO CHANGE REGISTRARS FROM MYDISCOUNTDOMAIN.COM TO GODADDY.COM...THIS IS WHAT MYDISCOUNT DOMAIN REPLIED....ANY SUGGESTIONS...I ALREADY TRIED ICANN AND GODADDY...NO HELP....

Holding your domain hostage! I will definately be avoiding this registrar and any others that charge fees and require paperwork to transfer away from.

thats almost as bad as a shipping fee on ebay for domain names.

I dont think there is anything you can do about it. Each Registrar has their own Terms & Policy and I believe they do have the right to charge a fee if they wish or ask for proof of ID.

Thanks for the heads up, I will be sure to avoid this place and suggest that everyone else does the same.
