   | On a scale of 1-100... I want to take a little poll/survey here...I'm curious as to what the result will be. On a scale of 1-100, how important would you rate the following things in the value a domain? (Please note that the total of all the items should add up to 100) 1. Number of search results on the keywords (on Google, MSN, Yahoo) 2. Backlinks (on Google, MSN, Yahoo) 3. Overture (without ext) 4. PageRank 5. Number of words / Length of words 6. Extension 7. Hyphens |

| everything is depend of individual domain name. Where were domains without any backlinks or pageranks sold at high price. So you cant apply this to each domain, but normally all of this 7 points are important: the higher the better. 33 extention, 33 ovt, 33 everything else

 | Different people are going to value different aspects of a domain in different ways. There are so many variables that it would be difficult to give a rating to each aspect.

| I don't know why everyone is putting 0 for PageRank. Whenever I want to sell/appraise a domain, the first question is always "What's the PR?" . Personally, its not important to me. But it seems that everyone is only interested in a high PR domain.

Me:
Quality of keyword: 35%
Extension 45%
Search results 20%
Let's see , can I add, is that 100%?
If a domain has a billion on Google, we say "oh, but it doesn't have any Overture, no good".
If a domain has 800,000 on Overture, we say "oh, but low Google results, no good."
If a domain has high Google and Overture, we say "ah, but no PR, no good".
If a domain has high Pr, we say "oh ok, worth $XX.00!!!!!" Ha!!!
Who knows, I think it is really :
