This is an important notice from RegisterFly.com. On our about 8/12/2005

via a request for money. Unfortunately we were unable to process this request for money and
consequently your account is now showing as arrears in payment. In many cases you may have

more than one of these payment notices. Please ensure you follow the directions and pay
each one.

Since these funds were credited and used in excess of several weeks ago
it is imperative you use the below link to make a payment to satisfy this.
If the payment is not RECEIVED within 48 hours from the date of this notice, your
account may be restricted.

5 - Online Checks (US and Canadian Residents can pay by check)

You may use ANY of these methods to pay your account. If you are unable to pay using these
methods and wish to make payment arrangements or mail in a payment please contact us at

973-736-2545 x4 (Monday through Friday, 9AM till 5:00 PM)

or

sales@registerfly.com

Please refer to the Transaction ID [**********]

I do owe the money and I will happily pay, but still no paypal the reason why I took the advancement. no where was it stated that you cannot use paypal to reimburse the advances.

I have the money in my paypal, however they do not seem to accept paypal as of yet. I emailed and was told that paypal was being tested (despite being proven as almost universal payment for domain names), and will be available febuary 2006.

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/136626-important-registerfly-collecting-still-no-paypal.html
Now I cant really pay unless they take paypal.

Anyone else facing a similar issue

and any suggestions on what I should do?

Thanks

Iravan

Well, quite frankly, I've already begun moving all of my names away from RF since many of them are due up soon for renewal. I will be most certainly moving away from them as fast as I can and I will not be back because of this whole Paypal fiasco.

However, my advice in this situation would be to contact RF and talk to someone other than a level 1 tech person. Let them know your situation and let them know that they told you they would accept Paypal.

Call them, demand to speak to someone.

I just noticed a domain of mine is pretty much locked with them now. It expires in 7 days and I have no way to pay for it because of the stupid Paypal thing. I'm stuck and I'm now very angry with the situation.

I see they take checks, so I'll renew and transfer out. I tried what you said but Namecheap tells me they cannot do it since the name expires in 6 days.

You'd input a ticket and they'd credit your account with the promise that they'd bill you a week or so later. Some people were billed but many were not and so they're probably getting the very same email right now.

They wont accept paypal even if you do open a support ticket.

At the moment i am in the same situation here and it is frustratting all replys to support ticket on it just keep saying Paypal is not an approved payment method. You may pay using stormpay, emo, moneybookers and online check

3rd Level Support Group
Advanced Client Support

So looks like i need to sign up for another type of payment method now.

I will be transfering all names from registerfly the minute i sort out this as it is shocking that they allowed us advancements if we contacted support with our paypal details for them only to come back a few weeks later saying that paypal is not an approved payment method if your outstanding balance is not paid your account will be restricted.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=136626

Big thumbs down from me.

Yep this is really incredible... and especially if you cannot use another payment method this is ending up to be really stupid. on top of that no agreement was made to back during a certain date or through a certain way...

any ideas on what i can do?

but they accept MoneyBookers . Only reason why I moved to Registerfly is that they accept MoneyBookers, also they have no fee for Moneybookers, actually they even pay your sending fee (moneybookers has only fee for sending money), so it is free for me to upload money via MoneyBookers (as my bank has also no fees for local payments)

If you don't have a credit card, and can't use any of the other payment services they offer, they request you to send a check or money order by regular mail.

I simply can't wait to see their paypal system up and running. These paypal conflicts have upset many domainers and made them lose alot of business. Registerfly is a good company but with this paypal problem, they won't be getting anywhere.
