GoDaddy: Now that's service!!

I cancelled a domain name a few months ago from my account at GoDaddy... recently, after lamenting that decision, I noticed it hadn't been re-registered so contacted GoDaddy support to see if they could restore it to my account.
Well, they not only restored it to my account (after verification) with no extra charges but they did so within 48 hours! Now that's what I call service!

Great to hear that. I too love GoDaddy, it is no wonder they are the #1 registry, all of the others need to take a close look at what they are doing and replicate it. Though, Moniker is beyond excellent as well.

They may charge a bit more than others, but I'd take top notch customer service over discount prices any day! All my new regs are going to GoDaddy from now on!

amen. GoDaddy is the only place that I register ATM. You gotta hand it to them, they offer very competitive rates AND excellent service. Something VERY hard to come by with most businesses.

I second that. After my first few orders, I got a phone call from a live person to follow up on the purchase.

They have always had an excellent support. I don't use GD that much anymore, but I still keep around 20 domains there, and I can always count on their responses.

I just wish they'd accept a Paypal account w/o a credit card on it so I wouldn't have to use checks.

Thats great service.
GoDaddy has been reputated to have very good service, but I did not expect free restoration to your account.

Hopefully, this is not just a one-off incident but a usual practise for them

I love GoDaddy's support team, they are the best, most responsive and the fastest so far. (Of course, not forgetting about our super 24/7 NamePros' support)

Twice, as in twice out of how many requests?

If they do that for all your request (twice), thats great!
