   | Fate of 'ICANN At-Large' Hello, Sometime back ICANN had launched 'at-large' program. I had also got the membership. I received a few feedback emails after which nothing was known. I would like to discuss with such members who had an 'At-Large' membership. Does anybody know what happened to 'At-Large' at ICANN ? Regards. |

| Thanks JR, I've been seeing those updates. What I actually wanted was to share personal thoughts with NP members who had also been interested in 'ICANN-At-Large' membership like me. My actual point was to discuss with such members whether ' ICANN have given 'At-Large' its due importance & weight or not ...and is it worth anything anymore ? And can ICANN avoid UN control by using 'AT-Large' community??' |

| I was heavily into the @Large fraud that ICANN intially set up. I even voted in what was supposed to be an @Large representation on the ICANN board of directors but after the election ICANN decided that the organization shouldn't be 'bottom up' after all. Many of the initial @Large members decided to start their own organization http://icannatlarge.com/ but this too splintered and fell apart due to confusion and I've pretty much forgotten about it till you mentioned it. This whole ICANN @LARGE mess has a long and interestingly sordid history; I'm surprised that not many domainers know about it. |

| I was also very much involved in that voting process. Even one of my friends was contesting at the Board. And was also much surprised about ignorance of many domainers about 'ICANN At-Large' |
