Most googletalk.--- domains taken?

Since google released the beta of Google Talk. A number of domains beginning with 'google' have been snatched up, are these people just asking for trademark issues? The two main extensions, Googletalk.com is point to Ronald Macdonald charities and Googletalk.de is on sale at Sedo. What is the communities' thoughts on the ownership of these names being that they are not being used for anything commercial in nature and Google has not launched google talk yet?

The names are almost always too risky to develop commercial ventures on -- you're potentially throwing a lot of work down the drain. There are plenty of ways to develop sites without using TM phrases, and it's always advisable to do so, imho.

for this reason only I stayed away from registering googletalk.us when i had the chance.

I know if I got it, it would have nothing to do with google so I just stayed away from it
