Need opinions and facts on MASKING domain name forwarding

2 questions on MASKING domain name forwarding.

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/110925-need-expert-opinions-facts-masking-domain.html
Should you mask or not mask when forwarding a domain to:

a) a parked site.

b) to a one pager on your own "platform" site.

my own take and experience on this is:

A - I know that masking to parked sites is better for being found on SEs but I have also noticed that the masking screws up getting credits on the visits. Can someone (experienced parker) confirm or contradict this please.

B -I know that when I mask forward to my own platform site I am not concerned by the credit isssue. apart from getting the url to show exact domain are the masking optimization more or less powerful than that of the page itself.

I know this is a two fold question hence the a) and b)

please indicate A) or/and B) when replying.

I cant WAIt to hear more about this.

for a it depends a lot on the parking systems backend.

for b, you should have the web server repond as that domains if you can, else do a redirect usually.

So my nic tonight is C. Bukowski or Jackie Chans drunken master
...and both dindn't plan to post arround lol

But ok here we go ...........

It depends what the site/domain is supposed to be, and the former mentioned backend service you might have.
But in any case i think that forwarding is no good choice concerning
SEO questions. Much better is DNS or domain pointers settings.

If you really want or need to forward, then its a question of priority.
Piority on domain --> masking with keywords and if possible Body html
Piority on a other domain --> set simple forward (e.g. MyMasking.net to MyMasking.com)

Thanks for the input. Maybe I shouda had some rioja before posting.

I am a bit dissapointed in the NP community here. You get good dialog on "stupid" issues but when you really need to find of some small technical advanatges or disadvanatges you dont get much ink..

maybe I shoulda made a poll.

No seriosly. Its a badly presented question. Just couldnt explain it any better. My bad.
