![]() | free Domain management website? Hi guys,I'm not SURE if i want to do this, cause its going to be free to use for anyone but i like the idea... I'm thinking of creating a little site where people can login and manage all their domain names from one place... click on a manage button, and it takes you to the link where you can manage your domain on your registrar... I know for a fact its getting annoying for me with multiple different registrars for all my domain names, so i was going to make it for myself anyways, i may as well put a user system on it and start a site ![]() ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/106135-free-domain-management-website.html I was just wondering how many of you guys would use something like this to manage all your domain names? would it be worth me making it? got any other ideas or suggestions for it? hell, if they sound like they'd work to save me time too, I'll definatly impliment 'em... like i said before though, the site will be totaly free to use, and i'll have an upgrade account or something later... the site will also have "whois" and stuff that searches for variations of a domain name you already own and i have some other ideas I'll add onto it also ![]() Thanks ahead of time for your input!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes sounds like a good Idea ,but You will still have to have links to the Registrars and then have login Passwords and Usernames in database Could be very Useful though ,I suggest possibly extend to include Hosting and Parking site logins. I find the most annoying and irritating thing with Domain Names trading is having so many different accounts and having to remember them all. First Thing I do when I buy a name is transfer into my account at my own Site. That way I can Manage from one Control Panel anyway. But a lot of People will found your Program quite useful.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Most domain managment pages are https and require entering your password. I think most would balk at providing their passwords at a third party site even if it could work. Nice idea, but I'd be interested to see how it would actually work. Fabulous.com has a portfolio management interface that allows you to track renewals, registrars, and redirection from one place. You just can't access the actual management such a renewals or pushes.

![]() | well at least there are a few interested in it , i'm pretty much just creating this so i have a single place to go and i can see ALL my domains from that spot, and do whois searches, and have a "whishlist" where i enter domains im interested in and possibly even a droplist on it when i find out how to make 'em. The problem is, none of this is actually really that unique except the domain managing part, but it serves as a good "favorite" link or even homepage, so you can do anything you need to from that front page (including viewing domain information such as expiration, and linking to their respective control panel)@AdoptableDomains what you explained was pretty much what i wanted to make, but I'm not looking for anything extremely flashy. Just a place where all your domains are listed and you can click icons for certain features such as "visit registrar" which will bring you to the login page or other link that you specified as the "visit registrar" link when you created the domain name. so all the links would most likley be set by you when you add the domain entry in the first place. I wouldn't be able to actually have you edit anything, and i doubt i could log you in to any sites using DB login information, and it just wouldnt be safe as you said without an SSL connection.
