Imagine the power of .om

Can you image the number of typo registrations that would develop from the creation of a .om extention. Look at the overture numbers for domainC.OM like googlec.om.

I make that kind of a typo every day, and would love to pick up a few .om typos. Who is with me for this great extention?!

I often typo .CO or .CM too.

If Columbia ever got their act together and opened up their .CO extension for registraton, they could make a lot of dough from typo registrations. I bet just resolving any unregistered .CO names to a parking program would resolve any national debt their country has.

Yes, i do make allot of typos like googlc.om . companies like google would register googlec.om very fast or buy it off a person (/"snatch" it). I may register a few typos like that if there are any left

i find your theory to be ridiculous, it is a cheap way to make money and would still entitle trademark issues especialyl with googlec.om....etc

jesus cant any web masters today find an honest way to make money???? this is making me sick..

I just searched NP for Columbia and ran across this thread. Too bad they only do .com.co, .net.co, etc. Like you said, this would be a gold mine... google.co OVT+EXT 81000

icann has done many stupid things, but i dont think they would be dumb enough to accept such an extension for obvious reasons...
