Top DN Related Prefixes

Just wondering what everybody thinks are the best DN prefixes after the big two, 'domain' and 'name'.

The other terms that are usually taken after those 2 are 'URL', 'DN'. and 'Domainname'.

For example, DomainStore.com, NameStore.com, URLStore.com, DNStore.com, and DomainnameStore.com

Personally, I am liking DN more and more.

Though longer, I would probably choose "DomainNameStore.com", IMHO. Naturally, this would be a distant third after "Name" and "Domain". Last time I checked in at Overture, "Domain Name" had quite a few search results for the month. "URL" would be last, as I see it.

Just using store as an example, but I think you got what I meant.

Yea, I always go for those two first .

I think for me its DN, URL, and then DomainName mainly due to the length.

BTW, vote people .

With the exception of DN for industry insiders - as its a recognised term.

cerebus has a spectacular aura aboutcerebus has a spectacular aura about

Animal Rescue Wildlife Animal Cruelty
1.) Domain - get's the appropiate message out
2.) dn - if people know the acronym, it gets the message out even better
3.) Name - To generic in my taste even though perfectly fine with branding of the full name
4.) Domainname - A bit too long, but then it really can't be confused with anything else.
5.) URL - Don't like it at all. In an URL protocol, path/file, IP/host is defined so I don't find it suitable as another name for domain names.

Looks like people prefer the 3 in this order.

1. DN
2. Domainname
3. URL

IMO depends on the suffix following the terms.....

DNregister ...vs.. DomainNameRegister
I would rather have the longer term.

DNPick.com ....vs......URLPick.com
I chose URLPick.com

I have sold "DN" names and "DomainName" both as the prefix for generic/specific domains.

Good point, biggie, but I just dont like the length and double n for domainname. The only good thing about it is the search engines.

Jeez make that three people who are surprised. I still like the order of domainname, DN, and then url though. It's a toss up between the first two IMO, in some cases I think one fits much better than the other.
