.info and .com appraisals please?

I know .info's are not the hottest... probably one of the worst extensions...
And I have a quick .com one too... it's a CVVC domain.

moot dot com is an excellent domain...a 4 letter, dictionary word. You should get mid to high $xxxx for it. Hold on to it, and don't let it go too cheaply. Nice one

I too love m00t.com, I am not sure I agree on the high estimate as the zeros in the middle bring down the price a bit, but I still love it as a vanity domain. I know nothing about .info.

Liking nursingjobs.info. Have seen at least one keywordjobs.info do well on Bido recently. Over $400 I believe. Could go $100-$150 or so.

I don't think the nursingjobs(dot)info is really that bad. All depends who wants it. Might be worth to get an expert or certified appraisal. Then you have a better idea. Not my department. I'm on the front end.

well,,,,, yes, nursingjobs.info is a nice name,,,,,but when it comes to reseller value of .infos on US market, then you will see how dissapointing the prices are. just one example: i sold a package with jobs.infos on ebay one week ago with 9 similar names for total 35 Dollars. thats about 4$ each name only.

however, funny thing was, after the sale was over i got 2 emails from people who missed the end of auction and wanted to pay me 50$ and 70$ if i would sell the names to them, but of course i didn't do that and sold to the winner, as this is against my principles (and of course ebay rules too).

so, if you want to sell to domainers, you must be really lucky to sell it over low xx, therefore i do not agree with all the appraisals above saying low xxx or mid xxx. this is just based on ONE recent sale:

the sale of GovernmentJobs.info for $478 at BIDO on OCT 15
bido.com/Auction?name=governmentjobs.info

this was a bit surprising to me though, but of course i am happy that there was such a Jobs.info sale, as i love infos and do think that they are undervalued.

nursingjobs.info is a very good investment & development domain. Don't let anyone tell you .info is a weak extension. It's here to stay and has a growing base of very well developed sites.

yes carlton, but would you please show me ONE Domain Name with .info extension, ending with JOBS in that list of known sales? (except governmentjobs.info which i mentioned already)

its not about the name, its about the .info extension which unfortunately (i mentioned that i love .infos!) is not appreciated by the majority of Domainers. Maybe that will change in the future.

Here are the .info sales which ends with "JOBS" which i could find:

DoctorsJobs.info 5$
NursesJobs.info 5$ (this is almost similar to this name)
Tenessejobs.info 14$
WisconsinJobs.info 14$

So, even if you or me love .infos, we have to be objective and don't appraise just based on our own liking. ;-)

Don't be completely focused on past sales or past trends. Speculation on future adoption is very legitimate based on the last 7 years build out on .info. Value comes with familiarity and use. Today's snapshot is useful, but a mere glimpse. I've had "pros" tell me I would never sell this domain or that domain, and of course did so.

i had these names on my list, but didn't mention them because

1) most of them are from german market ( i am active in german market and know that the .info situation is completely different there), so you can't compare sales like jobdirekt, berlinjob, studentenjob, etc. with english infos

4) you forgot the FAKE factor. In fact i know one sold name in the list which was a FAKE

if i wouldnt, i wouldn't register and/or buy english infos myself.
i think .infos will do much better in the future.
