Renew or Gonzo? 7-6-5.com

7-6-5.com
This is in redemption period at Godaddy. I can still salvage it for reg fee but not sure if it's worth it. What are these N-N-N worth these days? Would it pay to salvage it and then toss it to auction here? Bought it cheap here with intent to dev but won't be making it into a site now.
Thanks for suggestions.

I would renew this one. Worth more than reg. fee IMO with three consecutive numbers in order. Pleasant to look at, nice and easy to remember and easy to type, even with the two hyphens.

On the downside, quite a few N-N-N.com domains dropped recently and three are currently available for registration:

1-1-7.COM
3-7-2.COM
6-0-7.COM

A couple of NP'ers have been hoovering up many of the drops and I don't expect these to be available for long. I won't be registering them, but if I saw 7-6-5.COM available, I would register it sharpish. Hope this helps.

I'm mixed on this. Don't like N-N-N but its 3 subsequent numbers so you may be able to fetch low $$ for it.

By and large I don't reg names worth low-$$--too hard to work to get too small a return on the investment.

These N-N-N.com domains are for longer term investment IMO. Do you want to renew it for another few years before you sell? If you have no other N-N-N .com in your portfolio, why not keep it for a couple years? I have about a dozen N-N-N, been trying to pick up ones that are good area codes like the one I live in (Denver) 3-0-3.com I am prepared to hold these for a while. I'll be slowly working some content onto most of them as I move many domains away from parking soon and switching to noomle. The fact there are only 1000 of these N-N-N .com domains makes it worth keeping a few around in my portfolio. I'll be regging more of these drops too..

Btw Bannen, I sold you 7-6-5. Of course it's a 'nicedomain' It is a US area code for central suburban Indiana (very populous area). Also, it is a nice flowing number combination.

I would renew, I believe that n-n-ns will gain more value in the future...

Thanks for feedback all; sounds like it's worth one renewal anyway so I'll rescue it from the bin and see what happens in awhile. Yes bought from you ND, always plan to do a minisite around some interesting names I pick up but couldn't figure out a use for this one in time. I'll renew to hold for awhile yet, either to auction or to see if any ideas come up. Thx again

I buy domains. I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole. Tough to brand. Minimal SEO benefit.
