anyother name appraisal site that look cheap will be bad.
But as the name says it, it has to be a domain name appraisal site really, or maybe a domain forum?

going a bit deeper and assuming that it will be a domain appraisal site, I have the following thoughts.

1) Inexperienced domainers will probably prefer an automated appraisal tool which could give a reasonably accurate appraisal. (Established competion Estibot to name but one)
2) Experienced domainers would more than likely want informative tools to gather information and then come to their own value. ( Established competition Google to name but one.

In my opinion a combination of both would be best and the question is are there enough users out there to make it worthwhile ?

The internet is a massive community so its down to marketing the site and getting it noticed. I am sure I have stated things you already know, but it just lets you know how I am thinking. Hope it was a little bit helpful, Good luck.

Michael, just want to start by saying great name you have here. Really stuck out to me. There are some domains that have a nice curb appeal in my opinion, those are the ones I like appraising, and this is definitely one of them. Here are some ideas that jumped into my head about what you could do with a domain like this:

1) Possibly create a domaining blog that's main focus is on helping domainer's decide the value of their domains, and appraising others domains to see whether it is worth it to buy that domain. I know domaining blogs are doing pretty well these days, so I mean, just an idea.

2) A domain name appraiser could be another possibility. Either something where someone sends or submits their domains to you and you appraise them, or an Estibot like website, whether it is a custom Estibot like script, or a plain old Estibot script.

3) Maybe create it into something that helps parents come up with names for their babies. I know when couples have kids, they always have a hard time thinking of names for the most part, and you could do something where for certain personalities you have different names, if that makes any sense. It's just another idea I wanted to throw out there for you.

Anyways, good luck with this nice domain. Definitely really like it, and hope you develop it into a nice site I will see one day

First of all, NameAppraiser.com at first time, seems like a bot would appraise it, but i would suggest you make a name appraising community, so that people get fairly accurate appraisals, a forum would be nice.
