Its called Switzerland - people or products from there are referred to as "Swiss..." ie. "Swiss chocolates".

I don't think this one will command as much as the other similar sales, but its still a very nice name imo.

I very much doubt resellers would give you more than $50 for this, so it would be a good idea to approach Swiss travel agencies. I'm sure you can easily get an end-user sale out of this one with a bit of marketing.

Set up a holding page, maybe with a nice little logo (pm me if you want one designed)... highlight on that page all the good stuff about the domain - ie. why it would be great for the right person to own this... the possibilities etc. and then approach the travel agencies and give them the link.

End-user: $500-$700 (or even more!!)
Reseller: $30-$50

Good luck with it.

Thank you everyone.

BTW, the word "Swiss" is commonly used in Switzerland and in other countries to refer Switzerland.

I spent the first 30 years of my life in England/Europe and have NEVER heard of anyone refer to Switzerland as "Swiss". That is why I asked if there was a place called Swiss, in case it was a town or village I had never heard of.
Swiss is an adjective used to describe things that are from or to do with Switzerland, so unfortunately "Discover Swiss" does not make sense. Sorry.

I just realised that you are probably thinking of the word Suisse. Which I believe is the French word for Switzerland...

Yes, Swiss is a real word. But "discover Swiss" makes no sense.
You could say "discover Swiss cheese" or "discover Swiss people".
From the original post it appears the OP believed "Swiss" to be a location.

I agree with that point. It is like DiscoverAmericans.com
It really is a weird context.

The other similar sales are Discover<LOCATION>.com

stever is an unknown quantity at this point
TV, you're romancing your domain.

We do NOT use Swiss to refer to Switzerland. It is, as others have mentioned, an adjective referring to things from Switzerland. The only domain you can find which does not use it in this way actually on their site call themselves SwissDiscovery (the correct usage - probably couldn't get the right domain).

The only time it would be used as a noun is as a group, as in "the Swiss" (meaning the Swiss people).

It is nonsensical, the same as DiscoverAmerican or DiscoverBelgian. Something like DiscoverFrench or DiscoverGerman might have the mitigation of possibly relating to the language, but since there is no Swiss language there isn't even that advantage.

Something like DiscoverSwissWatches (or DiscoverSwissSecretNumberedBankAccounts!) would actually have more value (if any).
