That is my very subjective opinion. Flash is a good name but I am not high on .mobi and the name is very long.

At the end of the day it is worth what someone will pay for it.

Perhaps. This is the my only dotmobi domain.

I think its means is very good and is easy to be remembered. Perhaps my thought is wrong.

Many domainer do not like the dotmobi domain. In fact I do not like too. theflash is too easy to remember and the means is very good. So I reg it.

Honestly I have not looked into it much. At first I was a little high but now I do not like it. That is not an educated opinion but a preference on my part.

This is how I see it and what I base my opinion on:

1.) You can do anything with .com that you can do with .mobi and the recognition on .com is better.
2.) .mobi is a 4 character extension where a lot of the country code tld’s are 2 characters.
3.) I do not see .mobi domains moving and think it may end up being another .name market.

In general I think I would not hand register as many domains now as I would have in the past. I think the best use of my budget would be to spend money on domains that I think are good even if they cost more. Of course if you find something like sex.mobi or wine.com register it. I just do not see the value of names like watchtube.com or teradigg.com where they play off of someone else’s idea. If you were to develop a competitor site you would be better off with a 5-6 letter brandable IMHO.

I read a thread here that said .net is not as good/popular as some country TLD's. Like .de was really well developed. I have some .net names but would prob look for good country .tld's. I have not looked into .in but if I could find some names I think I would like to register some since that economy is growing. I would love some .TV's but the reg fee seems a little high. If you could get a good .TV though it might be worth it.

There are a lot of things I would rather have than .mobi. But I am new to trying to make money off of domaining. All of the domains I regged were for personal use.

If I were you I would be more selective and look for deals in the reseller market. That is what I am thinking of doing.

I agree on what you said. Actually I have some dotin domain, such as staple.in、bosom.in、fictions.in etc. And I consider the dotin domain have no much market at present. And I have bought more domains than reg.
