ePasture.com - Developed Site with traffic

I'm not thinking of selling the site yet, but down the road its an option. The site can be found at www.epasture.com - it is a humor site and currently receives 1000-1100 UNIQUE visits per day. Uses about 3gb bandwidth per month and is around 200MB in size.

Its run off a PHP/MySQL backend and makes about 40-60/mnth with adsense and advertising slots (I have plans for the future to increase profit). The PHP/MySQL Backend requires no PHP knowledge to maintain and update the site. You can use PHPMyAdmin and enter the details of the item you want to add to the database and the site will update itself. That should be enough info for a reasonable appraisal.

I've recently recoded the site so that the name of the item you're viewing becomes the title of that page which should increase search engine results in the next little bit. Also, I've coded the site so that all pages appear as html pages to users and search engines making the site easily indexed.

The site is completely unique - designed and developed by me and the design will not be reused or resold.

If you're interested in my plans for the future here's a few:
- sorting into sub categories (ex: the laughables section will have pictures, jokes, sub sections)
- addition of more video tutorials (some web related, others humor related)

Id have to say around $1200 with that kind of profit and traffic

It's a nice web property with good long term growth potential. Based on the domain, unique design, content and current traffic levels right around $1200 is about right.

Keep growing the traffic! I would think about adding a daily or weekly humor email list too as an additional equity builder for your site.

I do have an email list, but no sign ups yet. I'm thinking about runnign a contest where you enter your email into the mailing list for a chance to win a prize but I'm not sure what a decent prize would be. Perhaps I need to put a link for the mailing list somewhere else too - right now its just below news section on the homepage.

Not a prize suggestion, but a good way to get newsletter signups is by incorporating it with the 'pass this page to a friend' feature.

I think you have a really great and unique site there. I don't think I should give a monetary appraisal, but you definitely could sell it for a nice number.
