Domain Appraisal Question

Hello,

I'm curious as to how common it is for a buyer to require an independent appraisal before buying the domain. Wouldn't it be fair to deduct the appraisal from the sale? Problem is that the company interested wants $55, $75 appraisals do not accept free or more inexpensive appraisals. Trying to avoid spending that much.

Thanks for your help.

IMHO it is advisable to be careful when considering paying for appraisals. For more information on this subject do a quick search for "appraisals" in the Domain Name Discussion section of namepros.

Yeah, be careful with this. There are quite a few appraisal scams out there.
