I'm thinking this domain could be developed into a site that have resources for bloggers (useful scripts such as cms, htmlcodes, design advice, etc). Any appraisals? Thanks.

Thank you. I got a quote from swiftappraisals.com and it estimated my domain worth to be in the range between $70,000 and $100,000. But I'm thinking that I will keep it and develop it into a profitable site, unless of course someone who offer me a really good price for it.

Well, not to burst your bubble but I wouldn't place too much stock in that appraisal you got from swiftappraisal.com as IMO it's way off the mark.. even when I tried their free appraisal for this domain (I got a value of $12k - $18k), it was still way too high for an undeveloped 2 word, 13 character domain IMO.

These keywords are good, but not great.. only 11k results in Google for this word pair, with NO OVT or WT for this exact word pair so no one is out there searching for "blogger script". Even "blog script" shows only 14 searches a day.

A more realistic value for this domain is low xx to mid xx undeveloped IMO... the market would be somewhat limited to either a programmer or as a blog script portal.. in any case, good luck and keep domaining!

Jesus some appraisal sites are so bad. I would only say about mid XX i would be pushing the hundred never mind the thousand and especially not the 70,000.

I've just checked out my site www.asciibabes.com and it gave me an estimate of $ 130,000 ~ 200,000

The point is that free appraisal (like that on swiftappr.... ) is based on the own opinion of the owner. But I decided to try and checked mine: infochecker.com
Well, the value of $ 35,000 - 52,000 was pretty similar to the value which was suggested by humans at greatdomains.com... ahh, still much overpriced :-)

Do you really think people pay that much to buy a domain? Or is it better to develop it into a site and wait a year or two before you sell it?

IMO, a developed domain is always easier to sell... provided your vision is the same as the potential buyer's, that is!
