well, ambassador is a nice keyword, but I don't see a lot of potential in making money with this domain (since its a .co.in)

I'd like to give you a high dollar amount, but I am just not seeing it (at this time, of course)

Right now, assuming the best possible situation in this market, I'll appraise the domain at:

~ very low $xx

This domain is not reg free, develop it and once the domain has matured you will see a return in your investment.

A good search by tipsfromthetop show that the most liely enduser will be a hotel.
There's not a market for actual Ambassadors to buy the name of course (and in fact I think the British have a High Commisioner in India which is slightly different) but this is a useful name to have as:

1. It is a one word dictionary term (and a noun). AND
2. It is often used in brands. I think hotels, cheese, not for profilt organisations and sportswear spring to mind from somewhere in my memory.

You'd be lucky to get a reseller offer of more than $200 but as this market is new, there simply are not many resellers at this time so hang on!

sorry guys, i didn't want to post this on a forum, however, Ambassador is a india's no.1 classic and official car. i thought you guys would atleast do some googleing before posting your appraislas (like tipsfromthetop did)

It's hard to find an indian who doesn't know 'ambassador car'.

You seem to know the value better than anyone here then, so it should be questioned why you asked people for their opinion.

I'm sure people don't have the time to research all names (I certainly do not) - for a better, more educated response why not inform people what the name relates to in future and avoid being so offended with their answers.

The forum had setup some guidelines for posting appraisals. If we want more information to post appraisals, we shd ask for it. And we should not waste our times if we don't know what the name means. Better not post appraisals than posting unrealastic appraisals. No offencement at all here
