Experienced web developer: php, mysql, html, css, js, ajax

My sites are:
http://www.phpwned.org/
http://www.upaste.org/

PHPwned:
- User system
- "Online now" tracking
- tutorial CMS
- forums
- comments system
- private message system
- rating system
- BBCode parsing.

uPaste:
- pastebin
- syntax highlighting
- CLI script for submitting pastes

Both sites use KATE (kde advanced text editor) for syntax highlighting. KATE does not do this by default by command line so I had to modify kate (in kdelibs-3.5.9) to do this. I'm not going to go into detail what I had to do to get this to work but in simple terms, it saves the content to be highlighted in a tmp file with the associated file extension (so kate auto detects type and highlights appropriately) which is opened in kate, kate exports as html, and the file is closed right away, php reads the highlighted file, and then deletes both tmp files.

Before using kate, I used geshi (generic syntax highlighter), a php script.
KATE needs a display to work so my server is running Xvfb with one instance of kate for highlighting. Even though it uses an external program to highlight and after reading and writing to and from tmp files, its STILL faster than GeSHi, and supports alot more highlighting types with better highlighting. Very much worth it.

Sorry for rambling, its just that its my most recent achievement and a great one in my opinion. I am almost 100% sure my sites are the only ones to use KATE for syntax highlighting. Enough bragging about that though

Everything I do is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, and valid CSS 2.1. All my PHP code is fast, and without running extra, un-needed mysql queries.

You can see samples of my code on my tutorials on PHPwned.org, the latest (at the time of writing this) being "Advanced User System" which is a good chunk of code to look at as a sample.

I also slice and code layouts. PSD, PNG, or any common format.

I am also good with linux and server administration. I dont like cpanel (but will administer it if I have to as I am familiar with it). I dont like windows and if you have PSD's that need to be sliced please save with maximum compatibility so they open in photoshop 7 which I run under linux. Otherwise I have to load VMware for photoshop cs 2 which is a pain and I *really* hate using windows, even for short periods of time.

To contact me the best way would be by instant messenger.
