First, a little information about me
My name is Richard Knop. I am from Kosice, Slovakia. Currently I am studying cybernetics and artificial intelligence at a college (Technical University of Kosice -
www.tuke.sk). I have a very solid knowledge of HTML/XHTMl, CSS, PHP, MySQL and web standards. Moreover, I am always learning new stuff thus getting better and better every day.
Why am I looking for some freelance job? Well, I could use some money to help me pay my college bills and of course other stuff, too. Note that I am not looking for big advanced projects that might eventually take weeks/months to be done. I am preferably looking for smaller projects with a deadline of few days/1-2 weeks as I don't have time to work full-time on web development because of school. Furthermore, note that I am not a web designer - don't expect me to design websites for you. I am only coding/optimizing websites.

- Don't expect me to work on advanced projects such as custom social bookmarking systems, complicated news aggregators etc. Not that I couldn't do that but I simply don't have enough spare time for that. Remenber - college is my first priority.
Wordpress coding and SEO:
- I can make a top quality (see my XHTML/CSS coding habits above) custom theme for you.
- Ajax Tabbed Sidebar for an additional fee.
- Choosing the right plugins for you as well as editing them to suit your website.
- basic SEO (pretty urls - via .htaccess, installation and configuration of few crucial SEO plugins, sitemap, custom made robots.txt protocol file for your blog etc).

On Page SEO (If you have an existing website but are not satisfied with its search engine optimization):
- Making sure the website is valid according to W3 Consortium web standards.
- Meta tags description and keywords.
- Proper semantic structure (i.e. proper use of title, h1, h2, h3 and semantic elements such as em or strong).
- Proper density and natural placement of your keywords.
- I never use Black Hat or other controversial methods that might harm your website.
- I am not doing Off Page SEO (such as link building, social network submissions, directory submissions, press releases etc).

That's all I have done and published on the internet recently (would be more but - lack of time) but I think you can see quality of my work there. In addition, one more reason why I am doing this is to expand my web development portfolio which is small at the moment
How much do I charge?
Note that I won't ask a single cent from you until the work is done and you are satisfied (unless we mutually agree otherwise).
The price generally depends on how complicated and time-consuming your work will be - it ranges from $XX to $XXX for XHTML/CSS coding. Wordpress themes usually cost about $100 (can be less if the theme is very simple but can be more if its more complicated and/or you want some additional features such as ajax tabbed sidebar etc). For PHP/MySQL coding and On Page SEO I usually charge $20-$30 per hour but most of the time we should be able to agree on a one time fee.
