Color Requirements : Please Use The Same Green That Is Being Used Throughout The Site Now, As Well As Black, And You May Add One Accent Color (If You Would Like, But That Is Not A Necessity) - Primarily Black & Green Though

General Requirements : This Logo Is For Silk Plants America, An Artificial Plants & Flowers E-Commerce Site. Please Visit The Site And Take A Look At The Layout, Colors, etc...(silkplantsamerica.com)

Additional Information : I Think It Would Be Good To Have An Emblem, Or Some Element In The Logo We Can Use As A Branding Avatar For Social Media Profiles, Blogging, Favicon Etc. The Leaf On The Current Logo Is An Example Of An Element That We Could Use For This Purpose But Its Not Very Memorable Or Exciting. That Being Said, Please Try To Make This Logo A Little More Conservative & Professional Rather Than Flashy & Wild, Because The Type Of People Shopping For These Artificial Plants Tends To Be A Bit Older. Ill Leave The Bulk Of The Creativity Up To You Guys, And Provide Feedback As Quickly As I Can. I Cant Wait To See What You Guys Come Back With!

Very cool first entry. You really nailed the concept of an emblem we could use for branding. Some things that I would like to see:

1.) A Few Variations With A Different Plant Within The Emblem
2.) A Few Variations On The Font
3.) A Few Variations Of Spacing Between The Words

Here is what I have for you so far. I think I like the first font and spacing you submitted. What I would like to see is some variations on the emblem. Maybe without the leaves on the outside, or using the leaves in a different way. Also, I appreciate the 3 different plants you put inside the emblem, but none of them really are what I am looking for, because they don't exactly communicate "Plants" the first one (lotus i think) was ok, but the second one is just a leaf, and feels too "Irish" The 3rd one seems like lettuce or cabbage or something . With all that said, I definitely appreciate the work being put into this and look forward to seeing some variations.

Note: One consideration is this emblem may have to be shrunk down as far as small as a Favicon, so just keep that in mind when designing this emblem because I think some of the plants you used would be hard to tell what they were are when shrunk down.

VirginArt - Go ahead and get some rest, and when you get the chance, play around with some variations on the plants, or the SPA if you would like. I dont think the rose is exactly what we are looking for though.

Scorpionagency - Big fan of your work both in this contest and many many others. I especially like your second logo & emblem (the branch/leaves you used are great). My only request would be maybe slight variations in the branch & leaves just to have some more options, and also if you could give us a variation that fits the current size of the logo on the site...that would be GREAT! With all that being said though, I really really like both your logo submissions.

Will 7 - Thank you for your entry, much appreciated. I think it is a little to simplistic though.

Scorpionagency - I still like the emblem on number 2& 3. I think number 3 works better for me because its the size of the current logo and will be easier to put right on the site. I honestly really like everything about the logo, but just to make sure, I would like to see a few variations on the fonts if you dont mind. Ill leave it up to you with what fonts you think would be a good fit for the site. Thanks again.

Scorpionagency - Another thought would be playing around with the color of the words, where "Silk" is black, "Plants" is Green, "America" is Black. Kind of like the format of the first submission. If you could provide a variation or two like that as well it would be much appreciated!

ViginArt- I like these submissions much better as they are more recognizable at all sizes than your previous submissions. That being said, I like the details on the first of your newer revisions, because it looks less "Clip Art" like if that makes sense. I would be curious to see what other plants you can do in that kind of detail.

ScorpionAgency - Thank you for the additional submissions. I think I still like the original font you used better than any of the new fonts you submitted. I would be curious if you have any fonts that are more similar to the very first entry of the contest by VirginArt because I really liked that font.

Will7 - As I said I still feel your submission was a little simplistic, but there have been some positive comments made about the logo from some of my partners.

Note: I am not the only person involved in the approval process, as I have some partners making the decision along with me, and I have to say there has been a lot of positive remarks on ALL submissions up to this point.

At this point Ill leave it open to see if any more submissions come in as its still very early in the competition, and I'll give thought to all the submissions in so far and provide any more feedback on them if I can think of anything else to add.

Will7 - Thanks for your latest submission. Cool concept, but I dont really like how the font seems to get larger as it goes along.

Blairwitchii - Thank you for your submission as well. Would you mind shrinking the size down to match the current size of our logo. Also, could you please fix the spelling on America.

Ok I have some feedback for you guys

Will7 - My partners and I did not like the choice in font you used, but we felt the logo was a big improvement over the previous one. That being said, we still didn't feel like it was relevant enough to our business, because it has the feeling of a seed sprouting or small plant sprouting, and while we like the logo, we didn't think it would work for our particular business. Maybe a potted plant or something along those lines would be better.

Scorpionagency - Would you mind just bolding the word Plants in your most recent submission with the words all bunched together. We felt this might help provide more separation between words, and we liked how VirginArt had that word bolded in his original submission.

Blairwitchii- We liked your submission. One thing we would like to see is some different options with that leaf emblem. As it is currently, it looks like the letter G, and doesnt really mean anything when used away from our logo like as an avatar on a social media site. Could you make it look more like an S? Also, is there any way to incorporate leaves into the text of the logo (Silk Plants America). Not sure if that would even look good or if that would be too difficult, but that is the feedback that we came up with.
