[req-logo] Ox Seo - $30
Type of Contest : LOGO Design
Prize : $30.00 via PayPal, Moneybookers or NamePros NP$.
Contest End Date & Time : 10.00PM GMT : Sunday, December 2nd 2007
Max. Size : 300px x 100px
Color Requirements :
Transparent or White background. Completely open as to the colors, I will base the rest of the site around the logo.
General Requirements :
*edited* I would like the text 'OX' next to an image of an ox, followed by the text 'SEO'. No .com in the text.
Take a look at PolurNet.com's logo, it's friendly but still professional.
That's about it... I look forward to seeing your designs!

Does it have to be like a cartoonish ox, like the polar bear in the example.

It can be cartoonish or just the outline of an ox. I don't want a photo of a cow in a field

Pretty good effort, I like the font.
Ox needs to improve, I want something that people will instantly recognise.
edit* I now realise that it will be difficult for people to differentiate a ox from a cow, bull etc. If you could include the text OX before the image, that would be great.

Hi $tealth,
Thanks for the improvement! Can you give me more examples with equal sized 'ox' and 'seo' text? And possibly some colour variations from the orange?

Hi Venture,
A few colour samples as requested. If you have any other colours in mind please let me know or any other alterations.
Thanks again for the feedback.

$tealth,
Out of those 4, I would say the grey / blue combination is the best, but even that doesn't really stand out. I prefer that one because the 'SEO' text is sharper than the 'OX' text.

Hi Krossat,
Lots of fun designs. Top one is my favourite in terms of positioning and the small 'x' looks good.
Tips on improvement
make the design less cluttered
Third design looks like he's taking a leak

Hi logo,
I appreciate it's something different but not what I'm looking for. Needs to be less Texas, pirate, gay parade.

Hi Fico,
Some great high quality designs with impeccable finish. I like the bottom 2 and at this moment in time can't decide which I prefer. The only aspect that I feel needs improvement is the ox. Let me know what you think.

Hi Fico,
I meant the image of the ox, and not the text. The setup (what's the design term? structure?) of the designs in your original post are perfect.
I really like the black background colour of the circle.
