| [REQ-LOGO] Danes of Arcadia, Great Dane logo needed.
Type of Contest : Logo Design
Prize : $40
Contest End Date & Time : November 24th, 2007 (Can be ended early)
Size Requirements : No requirement
Color Requirements : Let your artistic juices flow, no requirements
General Requirements : My brother is starting a website at danesofarcadia.com. The logo should probably have Danes of Arcadia somewhere in the logo and probably some sort of illustration or something of a Great Dane, whole body, head, something. He gave me pretty much no requirements as far as size goes, he did mention maybe some sort of Florida colors since that is where he lives but don't let this get in the way of a good logo, just something to use as a guide. Also the logo doesn't have to go with the current colors of the website, that is a template that can be changed out. The website is still very much under contstruction.
Additional Information : My brother will be looking at these entries and will be the one making the final decision. If he likes a logo and maybe wants some modifications I will post those for him.
Thank you everyone, and there is a posibility of more work if your logo is picked as the winner. My brother might need some help designing the website too so please keep that in mind.

| From my brother...
seen the design of the shield and the one above it. The top design is crisper, but the other design, the one with the shield looks tougher. I want tough, but his design is not crisp enough. I also think that the dane on the shiled design needs to be tried out in a few other colors. Maybe the dane could be black. Not really sure yet. I need a nice banner to to put as the header, but that can wait until I het the logo though. I need a good logo so I can put them on shirts.........................

| Where are all the logo designers? Last time I posted one of these for less money I had like 15 submissions.
Anyone out there?
Zohar, the logo is nice but seems a little too simplistic. We are sort of looking for logos more like logoholic's but with a cleaner and harder look to it. | |

The logo is 100% Vector. You'll have no issues re-sizing or printing it.

| outphasen, just wondering, is that logo transparent? Can it be placed on any sort of background color without showing white?
Also my brother really liked the shield idea, just wants a nicer version of it. Maybe someone can submit a couple shield ideas? | |

| outphasen, can you check out danesofarcadia.com and look at the color scheme and make that logo sort of fit? Right now you are in the lead as far as my brother is concerned with the newest one with the shield. | |
