I am going to try and sell my home with a custom website.
I put up a static site just so that the winner of this contest would have the text for the site and instructions on what I want. The site is
www.kirklandhomeforsale.com. You will see just text and some simple links. I want what is there, but I want it to look really, cool. This is a site that will be advertised heavy.
What I am going to do is advertise this site everywhere, so it needs to be in light green like
www.realestate.com, but be funny and I have pictures that I want to use of my boys, and family, etc... scattered around the site here and there. I want the logo to be of a little city by seattle or something then the website underneath. Real retro/seattle/liberal/strange but professional.
I also want a pic of yours truly looking up at you. I can provide all pics to the winner.
I am also making a video of the home and will link that to utube when the time comes to do that. The video will be a link on this site. SO potentially, millions of people will see this site, thus seeing your "designed by" at the bottom.
Right now, what I need is a really cool old fashioned 50's/home theme that is kinda cool, yet cutting edge. Beaver clever stuff. I need to showcase this home in a good way, yet make me look like a celeb or something. Get it? We are in a down market, so you gotta really be good. You gotta sell my home.
ANyway, 500.00 bucks to the guy that can make it happen.
SO HERE ARE THE RULES OF THE ROAD.
1. I want a homepage image pasted here.
2. it will have the logo with the net address on it, the text on it, and a theme
I will make a desicion in 7 days from tonight. So basically go to
www.kirklandhomeforsale.com, grab the homepage text, make a logo using the address
www.kirklandhomeforsale.com. Maybe a little green house resting on top of the net address, or maybe a little Seattle space needle in the distance on the logo, I dont know, thats up to you. (kirkland is a suburb of seattle across the water where the seahawks live)
I am not looking for a complete homepage. I am looking for the "idea' the "concept". I will know in 5 seconds when I see it if its what I want. Just so you know, DONT put watermarks on it. I am well known in the .com world and on NP and dont steal. I dont think anyone else will steal it since its my site so please post them up.

Usually the winner is someone who thinks they wont win or that they are not good enough. Those are the kind of people that are cutting edge and don't even know it so don't be afraid to try this. ALSO, I have about 7 sites I need so if your not picked for this particular one, I may use you on another one.
