$40 US...logo design

this can run up to 3 weeks (lets allow for the holidays) but may decide sooner let see how it goes ...edited...this will end at midnight Dec. 29, 06

This needs to be great because this site REALLY will be the monster in it's subject.

1.) I dont really know what vector is but from reading other contests I think it would be the way to go.

2.)I need a logo that is no bigger than 1/2 the width of a web page...depth is not much an issue.

3.) this will be for a towing co. you can call it Towing.cam for now

4.)I'm open to anything but 1 idea I had was using a metal look since it's a dirty rough job...but whatever creative idea is fine

5.)I saw a thread here mentioning the web2.0 look and some of those entries were great so go for it.

6.) colors dont matter if it rocks

Working on mine right now. Towing as in Tow truck sorta stuff i hope!

Here my attempt. Colours text etc can all be changed. The Tow Truck was brushed from Scratch.

I have two killer ideas for this, but I am out the door so I don't have time to do them right so I will explain them to you with ROUGH art.

1. I will do it in Studio Max...metal textures, reflections etc. with the word TOWING.com and a chain and hook.

2. Same idea in 3D, but the ".com" is smaller and hooked up to the word "TOWING" with a hook and chaing. So not only is your logo "TOWING.com" but its also towing .com. LOOOOOOL

just curious ...can the font be made "thicker"? or can you give me it shown on a \n examplepage...want to be sure it shows up...and maybe a dark blue-navy color for the "getlisted"

FYI...vector means it is created in a program like Illustrator or Flash and is color represented by vectors instead of pixels as you would find in Photoshop.

So unless you are planning to use the artwork in a print campaign I wouldn't limit everyone to vector because it is slightly more limited in what it can look like. On the other hand, any artwork can be created in Photoshop or 3D and be converted to vector after approval. This is the way I typically work...all prototypes are developed in Photoshop because it is so much faster. I then re-create it in Illustrator if necessary.

How about this? I am also working on a version where the "get listed" is on a sign that is hanging from the metal. Maybe it will be ready tomorrow since it is now 4:30 in the morning!
