Hi, i am looking for the best flash banner 468 x 60 for the re-launch of my website http://www.domaininglinks.com The design I will leave completely up to you guys (that's your dept!)
Would prefer it to be a flash banner and in keeping with site's style, but will ultimately leave this for your own artistic expression. I am not going to tell you what to write, hopefully you will glean something about the general idea behind the site when you visit it!
This competition will run for 1 week from the time of this posting.
I reserve the right to pick more than one winner (in this scenario all would be paid)
If its really good it will replace that, i.e. if you design a new logo too and it all fits into the site, otherwise it will be used for banner advertising.
Will be made animated with the globe coming in from the left (larger globe) then getting smaller and coming on the right spot. I just wanted to know if you like the look of it and the idea behind the logo & animation.
Its a nice design. Site name is domaininglinks.com remember though. It looks smart though, which I like. Not 100% on what you mean with the animation but it sounds cool, would make a nice header, wonder if a banner design for advertising might need more 'information'? Would need to alter the site design too i expect if I went with this. (I can do this, but will sting a bit, as I've already forked out a lot more money than I would have liked to on this site, and its just been re-vamped!)
I see your point, but I can show you there is no need to alter ure site design:
I'll show you the kind of animation I want to make, but it takes some time to do so hold on
Also more information in the banner is not a problem, I'll see what kind of points can be added and make a flash banner out of it, expect the next version tomorrow

Well here's a quick ad banner(gif,Sorry i can't do a flash banner for 10$.). I'm assuming that you want to keep the existing color scheme of you website? if not let me know.
josephine- really like it, was what i was thinking of originally, although due to heavy criticism of the webpage design it looks like i should get a new logo...
Only problem is how squashed the left hand side is where you have put the existing header in. If that was straightened out I might buy your design in the meantime so I have something to advertise the site with!
It would be no problem to change my design in something like that. I'll post it tomorrow cause i'm learning for exams atm (can't spend to much time making this stuff then , weekend tomorrow )
Its nice enough, but you are still advertising the wrong site! Just a tip- it doesn't look too professional to get the name wrong, twice!
I like your design though- I would have to see how it would look used as a header in a bit more detail as it is quite different from the webpage design...is there a way of making it a bit more dynamic- maybe like what you mentioned before about animating the globe?

josephine: The banner is excellent, and I like the different colour options, not too sure about the left hand side still- looks a little odd with the rounded bit on the two corners of the box visible inside the banner, when other two corners are square (hope that made sense!) I like the chain idea for the logo too, perfect logo concept, just perhaps would need developing further...
greenowl: Thanks for your entry, I'm not sure that it is right for what I had in mind, it seems quite one-dimensional and a bit "pixelly" (can't think of the word). Feel free to improve but it need more depth and probably more colour.
