Contest over! Congradulations to KC13!

Hello all! Wow... browsing the forum, I can see people have a talent for making logos and such! You people are all amazing, and I would like to see what you offer me. Please be aware, this is my first site, and you folks should be priviledged to help out a newbie! I would pay based on the person's logo I like the best! Please do not be intimidated to post ANY logos, profesional or newbie.

Criteria: **EDIT
Site name: www.gamesbarrel.com
Color scheme: MY TEMPLATE WILL BE BLACK! (I have seen most entries, but for the people just entering, save time and make the background black!)
Specifications: I have this great picture drawn out, but I do not have a scanner. I picture a brown barrel on the left with "game" related stuff comming out. Then on the right have
Games
Barrel (big writing) . com (small writing)

***Edit - I agree, 5$ is too low for the great work I am receiving! I will pay more then 10$, for sure, to the logo I like best! Thanks alot!

I would like to do this but don't think I can justify it for $5. I feel if you increased the prize up to $20 or $30, you'd get more entries and possibly a higher quality. Just a suggestion ...

Yes, that is obvious. All I am saying is, I am not taking any of your resources. It is usally done on Adobe within an hour. I find that for a bit of work on your computer, if you are alredy there, 5$ is worth it. Forget the price... Just show me what you have. If I like it, Ill pay more. Thanks

Not trying to offend you, but would you like to get paid 5 dollars an hour for something that you have specialized in and practised for years to get as good as you are? Especially since designing jobs don't just flow in as most people would think. Like I said, i'm not trying to offend you, I'm just trying to get you to view it from our point of view.

Sorry, but if that is your attitude and you do not think that we, as designers, do not deserve to get paid more than $5 since - as you appear to be saying - we don't do much work anyway, then I shall not be entering this contest.

Ok, I will pay more then 5$. I just wish people could understand where I am comming from, and concider my small budget. What is a respected price? People at "forum I cannot mention here" charge 10$. Is this reasonable? Could I just please see what anyone has to offer? Thank you...

Other forums that I have seen that have logo contests go from $50 - $300 per logo, and some of the logo designers at those forums aren't near as good as some of the active designers here at namepros.

Nope... I would never ever do that! Ipxxfaintxx, your third one has the right idea, but refer to the one above it. They all look great, but I will let this go for another few days! YaSHaRz... it looks awesome! Could I only get flash game related things comming out, not just Mario? Also Games on top and Barrel.com on the bottom? They all look awesome guys. Thanks!
