Corporate Identity Logo | $50 for winner | NP$ for others !

I'm really excited to announce this logo contest for my new company.

Name company is : W_I_P_S_A (underscores added to avoid search engines got that, so please don't write the company name in your post, entries, etc. in this thread and remove the underscores in your logo

)
We have no baseline yet but we could add that later, so think your logo in the two ways... You can use lower case or upper case like you want, but please don't separate the letter in several groups like WIP SA for example, since it's a problem in french.

We're a small (two persons currently) and local (here in France) IT company. We have professionnal customers so the logo has to be pro and sobre. Our main business is to sell ecommerce website and manage the website for our customers. We provide domain name, hosting, IT advices, etc. too.

We're open to any ideas for the logo because we didn't try to design that and we know it's not really easy to do. We'd like to have a logo with a small symbol in front of the name, like the NamePros logo for example with the bulb. But like I said, we're open, submit any ideas you could have. I think NamePros has great designers here and we really hope you'll do the best you can.

Required :

Vectorized format like Adobe Illustrator
Two versions : color and black/white
Screen and paper usage

Not required, but if you know to do that, we appreciate to see business card, paper letter, etc. designed, like a true corporated identity, and we'll pay a little more for that.

Prizes :

$50 for winner via PayPal (or NP$ at 0.016 rate if you prefer)
200 NP$ for the second best logo
100 NP$ for the third best logo

Contest has no end date, winner will be picked when enough entries posted.
But for your information we need urgently this logo so don't wait too much...

Show it being used for on screen and print?

**correction** i did't copy anything i used photoshop cs and i added a plug in for the shapes so everything on the logo is my production even if it seems like the nike's sign....but that's good that you keep an eyes for the fellas..lol

i didn't mean that u stole it...it looks too close to their logo and they have already took legal action against those with things even remotely close to it since it is a trademark. so even though you designed it from scratch with no intentions of copying it cannot be used for corporate identity.... (look up trademarks and patents) I was just givin u the heads up so that you could change it if need be.

If chosen, logo supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats.

I'll have some business cards soon, I'd prefer to focus on the logo first, then, once we get that right I'll do some business card designs.

Hi dgaussin,

Here's my entry. 100% vector artwork.

First design. I used a simple symbol that - IMHO - clearly demonstrates the core business of your company. If the logo's going on the right direction I'll start the business cards design, ok?
There are also on both designs different colors and fonts for your appreciation.

The second design is very similar with the same concept, just making it show the "w" stylized.

here's somethin I came up with. I wanted to focus more on what your company actually does by incorporating the shopping cart symbolic for the e-commerce service and a wrench for the maintainence of the websites. This is completely vector and can be provided in .jpg, .png, .eps formats.

P10n33R, "screen and paper usage" means we need to use the logo on the web and on paper.. and your entires are too simple.

vip-ip, like usual, it's simple and nice but I'm not sure for the 3 boxes

will7, looks fine but I have to say you I don't like the butterfly

but the symbol used in 1.2 is okay. Please don't use different colors for wip and sa, because it looks like 2 words in french and sa is a well known acronym in french, it could be misunterpreted so. You can't separate the letter using colors like that so...

sylense, I really like your idea and design but we need something more abstract and not a big picture like this.

So in short, I like some ideas until now, but I'd appreciate more submissions. We need something pro, with an abstrac and symbolic symbol, and all the letters with the same colors or almost.
