   | Logo needed $70 Hello, I am in need of a logo for the domain name WorldCupMerchandise.com. I dont have my heart set on any style so i am open to any thing you come up with. world cup merchandise is going to be a website offering merchandise for the coming world cup (football). Rules. Winner gets $70 Any others we like (AFTER) we have a winner we will pay $10 per logo.  | Here are two first entries:  All custom-made and 100% vector (Illustrator). If chosen, the logo will be supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats. Feedback appreciated, hope you like them  Also, perhaps a mod should merge this thread with the one here: http://www.namepros.com/web-development-wanted/117908-nice-logo-needed-70-a.html as they are both the same contest

| I think it would be best if, after you have talked with your mate, to give us feedback focused on each particular designer. For example: True_Snake - <Your Feedback for True_Snake's logo here> SB_GEMINI - <Your Feedback for SB_GEMINI's logo here> 170designs - <Your Feedback for 170design's logo here> And so on. It takes a bit longer, but, in my opinion, gives the designers a much better idea of how to improve each individual logo. Just a suggestion |

| Ok here are my 3 logos. All colors, fonts etc you know the deal can be changed. On one of them I made it blue so you could see, if you dont like it dosen't need to be there. (Just so you can see...). Anyways heres my 3 tries. Basically its suppose to be a globe like orb with the "world" in the globe and the cup in the middle. The lions symbolize a logo type thing. (You know how football clubs have the lions...) Please comment back. Marcom elaborated on his verdict and said that it looks poor due to the jagged edges (which I agree with), so, take it positively and, in future, try to make sure that none of your images contain jagged edges. I'd suggest you come back with a completely different design to any other entries here. | ||||

| I don't mind that you think it's poor looking but I do think it was completely unnecessary for someone to accuse me of copying their work and calling mine poor. It's not even your opinion that matters. It is the person's who is running the thread. |

| Indeed, maybe Marcom was slightly unfair in immediately saying that you copied his design, perhaps he should have said it looks a bit suspicious and maybe asked you politely first, but, heck, we all jump to conclusions. Please do not take my comments the wrong way, graphicfizz, I do not mean to put you down, I actually think that, with a bit of practice, you show great promise in the industry And also, indeed, our opinion does not matter, but, it's always nice to have a little debate Hope this hasn't caused any tempers between the three of us ... |
