Semi-Official 10,000th Member Contest

Introduction: Guys and Gals this is the big sha-bang-a-bang we have all been waiting for. The 10,000'th member. 6,7, and even 8 thousand members were nice milestones, but this is something simply amazing. Soon Namepros will have 10,000 Members and to celebrate that, we will be having another member contests.

Description: Each member gets to pick ONE Date and you can change it around up until the 9,800 Member Mark. After that you CAN NOT CHANGE IT.

Rules and Regulations:
- ONE Date Person
- 50 $NP or Higher Donation to enter in the contest.
- Can change your date up until 9,800th Member.
- No ENTRIES ACCEPTED AFTER 9,800th member.
- NO FRADULENT SIGNUPS, Admin's/Mod's will check for Fradulent Signups. If you are found guily you will not win your prize, and you may be banned.
- Only ONE PERSON per DATE

- The winner is the person with the exact date of the 10,000th member signup OR the person closest to the date AFTER that member signs up.

EX: If 10,000th member joins on 9.16.04 then the person who chose that date, OR SOMEONE AFTER that date will win the Grand Prize.

Prizes:
Grand Prize - $1,000 NP + 25% of Pot + $10.00 (Real Cash) + (1) Registration at Enom. + OHNO.us + (1) Registration at DomainSite.com
1st Place - Person Closest AFTER the Date - $200 NP + 10% of Pot
2nd Place - Person Cloest BEFORE the date - $200 NP + 10% of Pot
10,000th Member Gets $250 NP

1) Not sure if an Admin claimed this contest, but I have run nearly all of the Member Contests for Namepros, most of which staff members even participated in so not sure if this will change.

2) Suthra please pick a new date, since 10/4/04 is already claimed

And was that 10 NP or $10.00 US?

I'm sure it's no problem ... with the caveat that it's not yet "Official" until after Admin. has had an opportunity to review -and- verify the sign-up's/User's from the beginning of the contest and up through the attained 10,000th member, IMHO.

Remember, we've had a couple of folks (former members) who attempted to manipulate the former contest(s) to their advantage, and obviously this is never acceptable!

Just a note, during the vb3 upgrade process we had a few technical difficulties with new user registrations so there may be a few duplicate registrations that will be purged soon. It probably won't be a lot, but you may see a slight dip in the current registrered members number.

Yah, JROY a domain donation is fine for now, althrough you post enough that hopefully you can get he 50 NP donation in the very near future.

Wavemail donated a large 250 NP, so the pot is growing quite fast

So far value of Grand Prize is about $50

I made it so %45 of pot expands upon preset prizes. I made it so that I'm not paying 1,100 NP out of pocket

But at the same time the prizes grow with every donation. If it comes out positive, then I will expand Grand Prize to cover the remainder
