We should start a raffle to celebrate the introduction of .tv sale coming to Namepros.com ! Anyone interested could donate 65 Np's for 1 raffle ticket.They could buy as many as they wanted. We could choose someone (like RJ) to pick the names out of a hat, or someone (like RJ) could secretly pick a number between 1-10,000 etc. Everyone could pick a number, and winners would be chosen that way.
Any interest anyone? Can we legally do this? I'm in with the first 65!
I think this is a good idea. How many raffle rickets would be sold? You mentioned "winners", how many winners would there be? Also what would the winners win? Sorry I am asking alot of questions im not trying to pick apart what you said, just need some clarity. Thanks
For every 10 people that donated the 65 NP's, that woudl be enough np's to register 1 .tv name here at Namepros. So, there could be 1 winner for every 650 Np's donated. How many winners would depend on how many Np's donated.
Sort of like a .tv lottery? I do think it's an interesting idea. But 65NP$ is quite a bit to pay for a 1/10 chance of winning the .tv domain name...
We should get something like a .com/net/org lottery thing as well. It would really help promote domain name registration here at Namepros. Namepros has got nothing to lose.
Let's keep kicking it around, maybe we can do one for each. We could have a winner for a .com. .tv, .net. etc. It doesn't have to be 65. It could be 15, but would take more members to join.
