Wanted Attention Writers: Clear out your back catalog

If you've been writing articles on spec, you've probably built up a catalog of articles you haven't been able to sell, or maybe articles that you wrote for deals that fell through. Perhaps you have a bunch of singletons where the rest of the set sold. Articles that you now despair of ever getting any return on and would just like to see the back of.

I need a lot of articles on almost any family friendly subject (see below), so I'm prepared to buy back catalogs. I don't expect great art, just solid English prose. I'm interested in articles between 250 and 600 words long.

That's the good news. The bad news is I'm only prepared to offer one third (1/3) of a cent per word. I know it isn't much, but those articles aren't doing you any good sitting on your shelf, you may as well clean them out and get on with new work.

It's easier to say what I won't buy than what I will buy. I simply won't buy any of the things Google list on this page https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...y?answer=48182:
  • Pornography, adult or mature content
  • Violent content
  • Content related to racial intolerance or advocacy against any individual, group or organisation
  • Excessive profanity
  • Hacking/cracking content
  • Gambling or casino-related content
  • Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
  • Sales of beer or hard alcohol
  • Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
  • Sales of prescription drugs
  • Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g. firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
  • Sales of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods
  • Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
  • Content regarding programmes which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
  • Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others
Note on the lines that say "Sales", I don't see purely informational articles as "Sales" as long as they aren't promoting the product.

I also don't need articles on pharmaceuticals, forex, SEO, blogging or article writing. Finally I won't buy articles that are too obscure so I'm sorry but I'm not the market for your 12,000 word treatise on recent trends in nose hair trimming by Yorkshire coalminers.

All articles must be in grammatically correct English with proper UK or US spelling. They must be your original work, previously unpublished and pass Copyscape. They also must not be a simple substitution edit or re-ordering edit of the relevant Wikipedia page or CIA World Factbook entry. To the contrary, I'm more interested in an article that flows than a recitation of facts & figures. As long as it reads well I'm not massively concerned if a few facts are wrong here and there; it's easy enough for me to fix those later.

I am buying full rights to the articles and may later decide to re-deploy them to other uses. They may be posted anonymously or under my name.

Payment will be by PayPal. Payment terms depend on your iTrader rating. Once we've agree a price and the sale, if you've got a good rating, I'll pay in advance; if you've got any nett positive iTrader rating, 1/2 up front and 1/2 on receipt and verification of the articles otherwise I'll pay in full after receipt and verification. Please allow 72 hours to permit verification of the work, timezone differences and any unexpected time constraints at my end.

If you're interested please PM me one representative sample and a list of articles available (titles and word count)

My Timezone is New Zealand, currently 13 hours ahead of UCT (GMT).

Thanks

Bruce
