| Woah, now that scares me. I was thinking of registering a .org.uk awhile ago..and if it takes that long, hm..by the time it is approved, it might have been Valentine's Day! Flora.

| I guess it's just me,but I have never heard of .uk being slow.I registered SpaceTravel.org.uk at Easyspace.com and everything was fine and instantaneous.I had it on Sedo the next day.I also have a few .co.uk domains at GoDaddy which were also instantaneous.

| .uk works like any other domain. Nominet however have chosen to still issue the registration certificates but this in no way affects your use of the domain. Once its registered online, thats it. The confirmation is just confirming that you have received the letter which thus ensures the domain details are correct. |

It states "This letter is confirmation from Nominet UK, the registry for .uk domain names, that the domain name above is registered for two years from August 24 2004.
