Godaddy to register Indian names apparently

I just read on another forum that Godaddy will be registering Indian names soon. Anyone here know anything more ?

Here is the response I received from Godaddy Support:
"Thank you for contacting Online Support in regards to registering a .IN domain name. We will be offering this TLD for registration, however we are unable to provide you with the exact day in which these domains can be registered with our company. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding this issue."
