Question ccTLD Domain Parking Questions

There is a Part A and B to each question I have about parking. One part being to ask it in the context of a business application and the other in the context of a private individual's application for the name.

Do you need to be domiciled in the country of application/domain?

Do you need a local bank account or credit card and is PayPal universally acceptable?

What are known challenges to parking pages from outside their region/locale and how have they been overcome?

What advice is there for parking pages in such a way so as to secure ownership to the name?

I think I know most of the answers but am looking for validation.

Thank you!

Each TLD is diffferent. Some are restricted/have local presence requirements.

Many registrars take credit cards. Paypal is less common. Some extensions are available from mainstream registrars though.

What do you mean ? You can park ccTLDs but some are better than others. It is preferable to focus on names that are likely to receive type-in traffic.
Avoid exotic ccTLDs.

I don't understand this.

Welcome to NamePros!

The above answers would mirror my own, but I would add that you can use PayPal funds to buy domains from ccTLD registrars that don't accept it (such as EuroDNS) by getting a PayPal credit card which will draw on your PayPal balance (if any).

By this do you mean parking and earning revenue off of potentially trademarked names? e.g. if you bought bayer.de and didn't want Bayer to sue for profiting from it?
If so, then the first solution is not to park it at all (this is bad faith). But I would advise against buying/registering this type of name in the first place anyway.
